My handsome son at Phil'sIs it just me or is time flying by? I can hardly believe that Easter is almost here! My kids have been working so hard on their homeschooling, it looks like we will be finished really early this year. March was pretty much filled with books here, a lot of school for the kids a lot of reading for mom. Of course we had some fabulous eats too so check out some of our favorites of the month!

Phil’s- Calgary

MonkeysAs you all well know by now, we take our kids out to eat after church every Sunday. After my husband works Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings, it is nice to get some quality family time in! What you may not know about me, is I love diner food. Especially when dining with kids because they love when there is a load of selection on the menu, as do I.Uunfortunately it seems a lot of other people like to have Sunday brunch at diners as well and we are often greeted with 30-45 minute wait time. With three kids, no thank you! Today we decided to try out Phil’s on Macleod Trail, I have never eaten here before and thought it looked just like my type of restaurant. It was! Lots of selection on the menu, great service (Thanks, Jenna!) and yummy food, plus no wait time at all, I mean we walked in and were seated, I was kind of shocked! And so, we have found a new Sunday Brunch spot! Yay for us! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, both boys had burgers, Jordan had the l’il spaghetti and Autumn ordered pancakes and was over joyed when the waitress brought her three different syrups to choose from.My Monte Cristo with fries
