The Old Spaghetti Factory – Calgary

ManicottiAh Sunday afternoons, one of my favorite times of the week. We have designated this family time, and after not seeing my hubby all weekend it is much-needed. This week we headed downtown for a stop at The Old Spaghetti Factory. It has been years since I have visited this charming eatery. Not much has changed. Same décor, same menu. Kids love it, our little pasta lovers have loads to choose from. Plus, the spumoni ice cream that is included in the meal is always a good time at the end. We mostly ordered from the “lunch specials” menu. Perfect for my bigger kids who eat a bit more than a kid’s meal includes but can’t quite finish an adult meal yet. We ordered the Manicotti which is vegetarian friendly. The lasagna, a big melty, cheesy, gooey mess of deliciousness and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everybody enjoyed there meals. With salad or soup to start, this restaurant really is a cost-effective way to keep a hungry family coming back for more.
