The Cheesecake Factory- Tukwila Washington

Lemoncello TorteWell, the vacation posts continue, and I have a lot more to share. We were gone 10 days after all, and we ate a lot. The theme of this years vacation, was eating and relaxing! As I already mentioned in my Pike Place post, we spent the majority of the day at the market. After the market we were both tuckered out, I think because the majority of the day before was spent in the car. So we went back to the hotel for a nap, and then our plans were to go to the top of the space needle, however we decided just driving by it was enough and changed plans to go see Man of Steel in the theaters. Honestly, we don’t go to the movie theaters that often, so it was a treat. Then on to dinner which we decided on The Cheesecake Factory. We don’t have them here in Canada, at least not where we live, so I wanted to check it out. I love variety so I was excited about the extremely large menu. It was humongous. So it took us quite a while to decide what to eat. As we were reading the novel that is the menu, we got to snack on the very delicious bread the comes to your table. Clarke decided to ask the waiter what his favorite dish was, and ended up ordering it. It was one of their most popular the Chicken Maderia. Clarke ate the entire plate, so yes he liked it, and I tried it too, it was delicious! I had a very hard time deciding as well, with so many options, I eventually narrowed it down to pasta, and from there chose the Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta. It was great as well, although I could only finish half of it. It is described as honey glazed chicken with asparagus, read and yellow peppers, peas, garlic and onion in a spicy parmesan cream sauce, and it was tossed with penne. Yup, I love all those things, sold. Clarke chose the dessert and wanted the Lemoncello Torte, I was honestly not that exited about it, however it is rare for Clarke to really want a dessert so we ordered it, and it was better than I was expecting. Always hard to share a dessert when you have such different dessert likes as your hubby. He did try to get me to order my own but I knew I would only have a few bites and at 7.50 per dessert, I just didn’t want to waste that much. If we were home and I could have taken the leftovers home, then I would have, however we weren’t so I didn’t, but next time we go I get to pick the dessert! So yes, all in all, I would say we loved this restaurant, the service was some of the best we have had in years, and we would definitely go back!Chicken MaderiaSpicy Chipotle Chicken Pasta
