Is there anything better than hash brown casserole? How about topping it of with a nice potato chip crunch. Decadent ,yes. This is an amazing side dish, and due to the calorie intake, definitely a treat. I won’t be serving this often, however I must say it was a perfect complement to the Pulled Pork we had last night. Also on the menu, a little Memphis style coleslaw. It was good!
Recipe from Allrecipes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 2-pound bag frozen hash browns
- salt and pepper
- 2 cups crushed potato chips
- 1/2 cup melted butter
1. Combine first 6 ingredients. Pour into greased 13×9 inch dish. Top with potato chips and butter.
2. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
3. Eat and enjoy!
