Yesterday was Canada Day, what better way to celebrate than head over to the Big Cheese Poutinerie to enjoy some of our national food. We have never been before but I have been anxious to try it. After all, I do love Poutine. The family of five shared two large poutines, and it was more than enough. We shared the Mac and Cheese, poutine covered with mac and cheese, obviously, and the traditional. Both were excellent, we all enjoyed both flavors.
We also enjoyed some paddle boat fun at our lake, so we had a wonderful Canada day, how did you celebrate?

I love the notorius p.i.g. really delish. Try that one next time. meat, cheese and potatoes. how do you go wrong?

I went to Canada a few years back and had poutine in Vancouver. I have been trying to find a good recipe for the gravy.. any suggestions?
Any gravy would proabably work, it is usually a bit thinner, so maybe just thin your normal gravy out with some water.
