Once a year we make our trek out to Swiss Chalet. One of our holiday traditions is going for the festive special. When I was a kid they used to give out Toblerone bars as the dessert which are WAY better than the Lindt truffles that they now give out.I guess that is just personal preference. It is still a highlight of our Christmas season. This was Erik’s first year ordering the festive special as he is 11, and the kid’s menu is for ages 10 and under. He was very pleased and felt oh so grown up. It is always nice when you get good service (can be a little sketchy in a diner type environment) but our service was great today, friendly and attentive, and the food was hot and fresh.
